Heroin skateboards was started by Mark 'Fos' Foster in 1998 when he still worked for Slam. What began as an elaborate joke has become an all encompassing thing. Heroin is an outlet for Fos' creative brain. Fos relocated to California a little while back so it is all run from his base over there. Heroin has a wide team nowadays from Gou Miyagi to Chet Childress, Howard Cooke to Daniel Shimizu.
